This outreach clinic was conducted in collaboration with Bidhannagar Housing Co-ordination Committee.<\/p> \n\n

It was organised as a “post-COVID consultation clinic” in memory of two members of the Committee who had passed away due to COVID.<\/p>\n\n

The inauguration of the Outreach Clinic took place at Sanskritik Lokmanch, Sector-2A, Bidhannagar, where the photographs of the departed members were honoured, and a tree planted in their memory, with the participation of the local councillor and MIC Health member Durgapur Municipality.<\/p>\n\n

Over the two days, patients were attended to, by our empanelled General Practitioners as well as a Cardiologist and a Gynaecologist (5 doctors in all). Investigations needed by the patients were also facilitated by the team.<\/p>\n\n

The MECAS team received much appreciation and thanks from the committee members as well as from the patients, for arranging a very well-structured outreach clinic.<\/p>\n\n

The residents association expressed their appreciation for “the outstanding free health check-up” provided. They compared the MECAS Outreach Clinic to others previously organised, and said that MECAS personnel simply put themselves into the residents’ shoes. They also greatly appreciated the “empathetic attitude”.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
